
Dr Jong Sze Chin is a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine at Orthopaedic and Hand Surgery Partners, practising at Gleneagles Hospital and Mount Alvernia Hospital. She previously served as a consultant across several institutions within the National University Health System (NUHS), including National University Hospital (NUH), Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH), Alexandra Hospital (AH), the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS).
She provides comprehensive rehabilitation care for patients with a wide spectrum of conditions, including stroke, brain and spinal cord injury, musculoskeletal disorders, sports-related injuries, and cancer-related impairments. Her clinical interests include non-invasive and minimally invasive treatments such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, prolotherapy, dry needling, extracorporeal shockwave therapy, and intrathecal baclofen pump management. She was formerly Clinical Lead for the Intrathecal Baclofen Pump Service at NUH.
Dr Jong is also a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) Certificate Issuer and a Severe Disability Assessor under ElderShield/ CareShield Life.
Actively involved in medical education, she is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and a Clinical Teacher at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. She has held multiple leadership roles in residency training and received several teaching awards.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr Jong contributes to public and professional service, including roles with the Singapore Cancer Society and the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM), where she serves as Vice Chair of the World Youth Task Force and Singapore Ambassador.
She is also a certified National Para Swimming Medical Classifier and has represented Singapore at multiple ASEAN Para Games.
Her research interests span stroke rehabilitation, cancer survivorship, and neuroimmunology, with publications and presentations at international conferences.
